Horrible Packers news confirmed

The Green Bay Packers are looking like one of the best teams in the league, getting off to a red-hot 2-0 start. The Packers made the bold move to trade with the Dallas Cowboys for one of the best pass rushers in the league in Micah Parsons, and his impact has been felt immediately.

Unfortunately, things aren’t going quite so well for the Packers on the other side of the ball at the moment. The Packers came out of Week Two losing one of their most important offensive pieces to injury, according to one of the league’s leading insiders.

“Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed wound up undergoing surgery Tuesday on both a broken clavicle and a Jones fracture in his left foot. ‘Successful foot & clavicle surgery thank you God,” Reed posted on social media. He now is out indefinitely,” [reported ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Tuesday.](https://x.com/AdamSchefter/status/1968310919118889372)

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“That’s more than likely a wrap for him not playing in the regular season, packers will need him for their playoff run,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“If all goes well, there’s a good chance Reed will return in Week 14 against Chicago. That Reed was playing WR with a fractured foot is impressive. That he was playing at a high level is even more impressive. The guy is a winner, and he’ll be missed for the next couple of months,” someone else added.

“A half of professional football was enough to get two opposing extremities on his body busted up enough to require surgery,” one fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Packers manage without Reed for the foreseeable future.
