Second-half goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard earned Arsenal a 2-0 win over Athletic Club in the first match of their Champions League campaign on Tuesday.
Mikel Arteta’s side travelled to Bilbao for their first game of the group phase of the competition but were unable to find a breakthrough in the first period.
That was until the second period when substitutes Martinelli and Trossard both found the back of the net, earning the Gunners an important victory and moving them a step closer to the knockout stages.
Away from the action, it has now emerged that Arsenal are one of several clubs chasing a Ghanaian teenager.
As per TBR Football, the Gunners are one of three Premier League sides interested in FC Nordsjaelland’s Prince Amoaka Junior.

The report claims that both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in the winger, who only arrived in Europe at the start of the year.
Amoaka Junior has scored four times and provided one assist in his four appearances for the Danish side since joining from the Right to Dream Academy in Accra, Ghana.
Current Premier League stars Mohammed Kudus and Simon Adingra have previously graduated from the prestigious academy, and it appears that people are increasingly anticipating Amoaka Junior becoming the next star to emerge.
His impressive performances haven’t gone unnoticed, though, and the report suggests that La Liga giants Real Madrid are ready to battle the three London sides for the player’s signature.
The 18-year-old is currently contracted to Nordsjaelland until the end of the 2029/30 campaign, but it appears that the Danish side could soon face a battle to keep hold of the promising young player with several scouts having been to watch him in action.
