Lincoln City host Luton Town on Saturday afternoon at Sincil Bank. The Hatters were relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2023/24 season and from the Championship last season.
Sebastian Stockbridge will be the man in the middle for this League One encounter, which kicks off at 12:30.

Views from Scotimp: “Luton fans are scathing about their performances so far, accusing the players of being lightweight, poorly organised and having a powder puff forward line. The wingers cannot cross, the strikers cannot score, and the defenders cannot defend. Other than that, they sound great.
They have still sold out their allocation of 1,433, so it should be a good atmosphere.
Make no mistake, this is probably our biggest test of the season, regardless of the opinion of their fans. Can see this being a draw.
As for our side, we have a lot of players to fit into the matchday squad, let alone the starting eleven. Towler and Street are available after suspension, although I can see the more experienced Reach retaining his place for this one.
Wickens
Darikwa – Hamer – Bradley – Reach
McGrandles – Varfolomeev
Street – House – Hackett
Collins
By my calculations, we now have 14 players competing for a spot on the bench.”

PerthImp: “2-0 Imps. If we have ambitions to play at the next level, these are the games we should be winning. Great support, decent start to the season, we are scoring goals (maybe a bit more clinical would help) and have a solid defence, decent squad depth and quality and strong benches to impact games. No reason why we shouldn’t win, especially at home. COYMI.”
Chesterimp: “Saturday was my first live game and confirmed what I suspected from games and on TV, that Bayliss is underappreciated by a few on here.
He plays some perceptive passes when the opportunity presents, delivers a mean dead ball and can be really hard working off the ball. At least twice this season, he’s chased back at speed to try to deal with a dangerous break, including straight after being injured by that tackle against Wigan, before having to go off.
He’d also be a starter for me whenever fit.”
