Forest side for Swansea clash announced

Eight make full Forest debuts

Four summer arrivals named on the bench

Ange Postecoglou has named his Nottingham Forest side to take on Swansea City in the third round of the Carabao Cup this evening (kick-off 8pm BST).

The Forest Head Coach has handed full debuts to eight of our summer signings at the Swansea.com Stadium, with the other summer recruits all named on the substitutes’ bench in South Wales.

John Victor, Nicolò Savona, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Douglas Luiz, James McAtee, Dilane Bakwa, Omari Hutchinson and Igor Jesus all make their maiden starts for the Reds.

John starts between the sticks following his summer arrival from Brazilian side Botafogo, behind a back four of Savona, who made his Forest bow against Arsenal at the weekend, Willy Boly, Morato and Zinchenko.

Captain Ryan Yates starts alongside Douglas Luiz in the middle of the park, behind McAtee who begins the contest further upfield.

Bakwa and Hutchinson start on the flanks, either side of Jesus who spearheads the Forest forward line.

Arnaud Kalimuendo, Jair Cunha, Angus Gunn and Dan Ndoye are joined on the bench by Ibrahim Sangaré, former Swansea loanee Morgan Gibbs-White, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Taiwo Awoniyi and Zach Abbott.
