The Denver Broncos entered the season as one of the most hyped teams in the NFL.
Head coach Sean Payton gushed about his club, stating that it was one of the few times in his career that he legitimately thought that it could make a Super Bowl run.
So far, that hasn’t been the case.
The Broncos escaped with a Week 1 win against the Tennessee Titans, and they couldn’t hold off the Indianapolis Colts in a Week 2 loss.
Nevertheless, former NFL player Ross Tucker believes Denver is about to pull off a huge win against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3.
“They had some fluky things go against them in Indy. The Chargers are on a short week. Chargers lost Khalil Mack. They’re kinda banged up. I think the Broncos go into L.A. and get this win. … I think it’s Denver 20, the Chargers 16. Broncos get a gigantic road win,” Tucker said.

Oddsmakers feel the opposite way, with the Chargers a slight favorite to earn the victory.
Then again, Tucker does have a valid point that the Broncos were on the wrong side of some unfortunate events against the Colts, including a final-play penalty that gave Indianapolis a second chance to make the game-winning field goal.
Yet, the Chargers are looking like a juggernaut on both sides of the ball, even without Mack leading their pass rush.
Divisional games are always a toss-up where anything can happen.
The Chargers are atop the division, and they will look to make it 3-0 in the AFC West.
Of course, that will be easier said than done.
Both defenses are elite, and the game will be a must-watch matchup for old-school football fans.
