Peter Crouch has just predicted the winner of Arsenal vs Manchester City

Peter Crouch has predicted who will come out on top when Manchester City and Arsenal lock horns next weekend.

Troy Deeney predicted Manchester City to beat Arsenal 2-1 on Sunday.

However, ahead of the contest, it is hard to deny that the Gunners would be the favourites to take the all-important three points.

Manchester City have already lost two out of their four league games while Arsenal’s only defeat this season came against league leaders Liverpool as they lost 1-0 at Anfield.

As Peter Crouch sang Erling Haaland’s praises by naming him as the best striker in the Premier League, he also predicted the upcoming contest between the two sides.

So much so that Crouch claimed he would happily visit the Emirates Stadium to watch the game in action.

However, the former Liverpool striker backed Arsenal to beat Manchester City on The Peter Crouch Podcast, saying: “Oh, this will be an amazing game. Listen, I’ll happily go if you want me to.”

“3-2 Arsenal.”

Both sides will be desperate to win and send a message to the rest of the Premier League that they are ready to win the Premier League title.

Ruben Dias has already taken a dig at Arsenal ahead of Manchester City clash

Peter Crouch expects a narrow win for Arsenal against Manchester City and if the visitors taste their third defeat of the campaign, many would write their title prospects off already. City will be hoping to get a result at the very least.

Ruben Dias aimed a dig at Arsenal, claiming that they were lauded for their previous campaign and yet, Manchester City finished just three points behind them in the league in their poor season.

“It most definitely hurt [last season], and I feel like, after so much success, there was always going to be a moment like this. No team can win forever.”

“Even though that’s the ambition of all of us. The fact that we pushed to those four Premier Leagues in a row, that’s never been done before, it’s already something extraordinary.

Dias concluded: “At the end of the day, we were third in the league in probably the most difficult league in the world. And three points behind Arsenal, who supposedly did a great season.”
