As hyped as Bijan Robinson was when he was selected No. 8 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons, the running back somehow flies under the radar despite being every bit as good as he was projected to be coming out of college.
He has played every game in his three seasons and ran for 1,456 yards and 14 touchdowns last year.
Now, after posting more than 120 scrimmage yards in each of Atlanta’s first two games this season, head coach Raheem Morris made a strong claim about how good his star is.
“He’s definitely the best player in football on my end. He’s unbelievable. I love everything about him. I love the kid,” Morris said.

It’s easy to see why Morris loves Robinson, as he checks every box a coach could want from a running back.
In addition, by all accounts, he seems to be a humble and willing leader in the locker room as well as a role model off the field.
Robinson gained 143 rushing yards on 22 carries in a workmanlike Week 2 victory against the Minnesota Vikings on “Sunday Night Football,” Atlanta’s first win of the season.
As good as he is, it’s bold to say he is the best player in the NFL, but Morris has every right to feel that way.
There are no limits to what he can do within the Falcons’ offense, and he will try to keep it going in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers.
