Wolves suffered a narrow defeat to Newcastle last weekend. They are still yet to take a point in the league this season, while Leeds have four points so far. Despite their poor form, the club’s ownership are set to reward Vitor Pereira with a new contract, according to Ben Jacobs.
Vitor Pereira is close to agreeing a new three-year contract at Wolves, as @talkSPORT revealed on Monday.
Understand it could be formalised before the weekend.

Wolves boss eyes first points of the season vs Leeds United
The Portuguese manager has already warned ahead of the game that his side will be looking for their first points of the season against Leeds. He asked his team to keep fighting after the Newcastle loss, as he believes Wolves will start racking up the points soon:
“This is the time to be together, not to complain, because I’m very proud. I believe that we can increase the level of the team if we have time to work with the team, if we had time to work on the pitch, we can increase the level.
“The first week we will have time to be together and to work together on the pitch, it will be the next week for the first time in this season. What I saw this game was tactically, mentally, a team with energy, with spirit, with belief in themselves, and this is for me is the way to increase our level and to start to getting points.”
