NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Tennessee Titans are still looking for their first win of the season. Several factors have contributed to their 0-2 start.
One of the most pressing issues is the inability to protect the quarterback. Rookie Cam Ward has been sacked 11 times in two games. Injuries on the offensive line have made it difficult for any continuity to be developed. It’s something head coach Brian Callahan said he would like to see more of.

There was no sight of that as the Titans hit the practice field ahead of their divisional opener against the Indianapolis Colts. Both right tackle JC Latham and right guard Kevin Zeitler were notable absent from Wednesday’s practice. Latham was listed on Wednesday’s injury report with the same hip injury that kept him out of the home opener against the Rams. Zeitler started at right guard on Sunday but missed the last 14 snaps with a bicep injury. Oli Udoh and John Ojukwu took reps on Sunday as the depth continues to be tested on that right side
_“Everybody’s trying to find guys I can go in and compete and play well. I feel good about the guys that have played, and we got to play better than we have, certainly. But I do feel good about the depth and the guys we do have,”_ said Callahan.
It’s not just the offensive line with the injury bug. Nose tackle T’Vondre Sweat is still on the injury report with that ankle injury that sidelined him against the Rams. He was limited at Wednesday’s practice.
