The Pittsburgh Steelers have just one goal for the 2025 season. It's championship or bust for the storied franchise in what will likely be Aaron Rodgers' last NFL campaign.
So far, the results have been mixed through two weeks.
In Week 1, the Steelers were able to pull off a hard-fought 34-32 win over the New York Jets. Then, in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks, things came crashing down to earth with a 31-17 loss to even up at 1-1.

Despite the tough loss last week, Pittsburgh remains confident. During the offseason, the front office was aggressive in acquiring talent. Rodgers was signed, Jalen Ramsey was acquired in a trade, DK Metcalf was also acquired via trade.
On the outside looking in, the roster looks talented enough to be a potential Super Bowl contender.
Unfortunately, on Wednesday during practice, the Steelers suffered a scary injury.
According to a report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport, offensive lineman Max Scharping suffered a knee injury and there is fear that it is a significant injury. He will be having an MRI done to figure out just how serious.
"Sources: Steelers interior OL Max Scharping suffered a knee injury during today's practice and the fear is that it's significant," Rapoport wrote in a post on X. "He'll have an MRI to confirm the severity. A tough reality for a key depth piece for Pittsburgh."
Losing Scharping would be a significant loss for Pittsburgh. He is one of the team's key backup offensive linemen.
Keeping Rodgers upright and healthy is one of the main focal points for the Steelers this season. Scharping may not be a starter, but he would be one of the first names to step onto the field if a starter did go down with an injury.
Hopefully, this isn't a season-ending injury for the 29-year-old offensive guard. More information will be made available following the MRI, but this report doesn't sound good for Pittsburgh.
Next up for the Steelers will be a Week 3 matchup on the road against Mike Vrabel and the New England Patriots. Pittsburgh will look to rebound from its subpar performance against the Seahawks and get back above .500 heading into Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings.
