Laura Woods will be hoping Virgil van Dijk won’t be tuning into any TNT Sports repeats.
The former talkSPORT Breakfast host was back anchoring Champions League coverage when everyone got a bit excited about the Reds captain’s late winner.

Laura Woods laughs off awkward Virgil van Dijk slip of the tongue
Liverpool gave up a 2-0 lead in their European opener against Atletico Madrid, only to snatch a later winner in more dramatic scenes.
Captain Van Dijk mastered a penalty box melee to nod in from range in the second minute of stoppage time.
It was Liverpool’s fifth winner after the 80th minute so far this season, and Woods got caught up in the excitement when recalling it.
“That man’s 92nd minute winner from the Liverpool captain Virgin… Virgil van Dijk means they got through 3-2 at Anfield,” she said, stopping throughout due to laughter.

Some social media users managed to catch the clip, posting it online with Woods replying to one simply writing 'Noooo' with a string of laughing emojis.
Replying to another follower who posted the clip, she wrote: "Shhhhh no one heard."
The laughs continued for Woods when she was later joined by vice-captain Andy Robertson, who she told: “You’re seeing out games and it’s not easy, but then you’re just finding a way to pull through - and it’s massively entertaining to watch.”
The Scot responded: “It’s true, I think we need to get back to winning a bit simpler and easier, the assistant manager turned to me when Virgil put it in and said ‘he’s getting too old for this’.
“It’s a great thing to have to be able to keep going to the end, but to have been 2-0 up and playing so well in the first half it should’ve been a more comfortable night.”
Robertson's accidental opener
Woods was then back at the jokes, referring to the opening goal of the match in the fourth minute.

A Mohamed Salah free kick was struck low at the wall, only to deflect off Robertson and into the net to be given as his goal.
“Great positioning from you there,” she said with a laugh.
“I didn’t have a clue!” he responded. “The set piece coach said I was crucial for set pieces tonight so I took it literally.”
Upon watching back his goal for the first time, he added: “It’s a great finish that, I’ll claim the Puskas Award now.
“Honestly I didn’t know much about it but thank god it went in.”
Praise for Isak
The 3-2 win also saw Alexander Isak’s first minutes after he became the third most expensive footballer in history at £125million.

The former Newcastle man started and played 58 minutes, showing some nice link up with fellow new signing Florian Wirtz.
“I thought he was excellent,” Robertson said of his new Swedish teammate.

“He’s not had a pre-season or a lot of games but in the first half I thought he was excellent.
“Naturally he got tired but then it’s amazing to have a player like Hugo [Ekitike] come on with such quality.”
