Sergio Aguero has backed a third team to rival Liverpool and Arsenal for the Premier League title this season.
Liverpool and Arsenal have been widely tipped to go head-to-head in another Premier League title race after last season’s battle.
Arne Slot guided Liverpool to the title in his first season in England, with Arsenal having to settle for a third successive second-place finish under Mikel Arteta.
Both teams look even stronger this season after impressive transfer windows, with Liverpool spending a British record £446m over the summer and Arsenal spending more than £250m on new signings.
Liverpool, still boasting a perfect record, are already three points clear at the top of the Premier League with Arsenal joint-second.

It remains to be seen whether any teams are capable of keeping pace with Liverpool and Arsenal but Aguero believes Chelsea should not be discounted.

The Blues won the Club World Cup over the summer and have enjoyed a bright start to the new season, boasting an unbeaten record after four games.
‘Chelsea are most definitely one of the teams to beat in the Premier League this season,’ Aguero, a five-time title winner with Manchester City, told Stake.
‘They come from playing two seasons with a young roster that still needed to grow into the Premier League. Now their side feels more mature, with a strong, steady performance.

‘Consistency is key in the Premier League, and the most consistent winner will likely have a shot at the title. That could be Chelsea, if they keep up the fight until the very end.’
Manchester City have been the dominant force in English football over the past decade and Pep Guardiola’s side have shown signs they are ready to compete for the title.
City thrashed Wolves on the opening weekend and thumped local rivals Manchester City in a one-sided derby last time out.

However, City suffered disappointing defeats to Tottenham and Brighton in-between those wins and Didi Hamann has ruled them out of the title mix.
‘Arsenal are the biggest threat to Liverpool in the title race,’ Hamann told CoinPoker.
‘With the signings of Eberechi Eze and Piero Hincapie, they now have a fantastic squad. They fielded a brilliant team against Liverpool even with Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard not able to start.
‘I expect Arsenal to be the main contender. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if Chelsea turned it into a three-horse race.
‘They are a dangerous side, capable of winning six, seven, or eight games in a row.
‘I don’t believe Manchester City can do that, but Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea are the only teams I think are capable of such a run.’
The Premier League campaign resumes this weekend with defending champions Liverpool facing Merseyside rivals Everton at Anfield.
