Andrea Cambiaso has been touted as a player at the level of Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City. Those words have come from his own manager, Igor Tudor.
Juventus face Atalanta on Saturday and Tudor has been speaking to the Italian media ahead of the match. The Juve manager explained it’s a big occasion. He sees it as two Champions League teams coming head to head domestically.
There’s been some question marks around Juventus’ midfield in recent months. Signings in summer 2024 didn’t go to plan and there’s also been fitness issues.
Tudor was asked today whether Andrea Cambiaso could play in midfield and that’s when Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City were mentioned.
Il Bianconero quote the Juventus manager as saying: “He could play as a winger; he has a different mindset, he sees the game as a midfielder too. He needs to be more consistent; he’s potentially a player for the best clubs in the world, but he has to decide. If he decides, he can play for Real Madrid, Liverpool, or Manchester City.”

Andrea Cambiaso is best known as a fullback. He can play either side and also further up the pitch. The 25-year-old is two footed and a versatile dream for a manager.
Igor Tudor clearly wants more. However, that would come with the danger of someone snatching him away from the Turin club. He’s contracted with Juventus until June 2029, so there’s little worry in that regard.
Both Liverpool and Manchester City have been linked with Andrea Cambiaso this year. In the run up to the summer window, the City claims got quite big.
Gazzetta dello Sport even reported personal terms had been agreed between the Italian and Pep Guardiola’s side. There was no indication of what Juventus would ask in terms of transfer fee.
Whilst Tudor wasn’t shopping his player around, he knows there’ll be interest. Andrea Cambiaso is a versatile dream to keep an eye on.
