Amad will miss Manchester United's Premier League trip to Brentford tomorrow because of a family bereavement.
The winger has been given compassionate leave by United boss Ruben Amorim, who has given Amad as much time as he needs to deal with the loss.
United sources unsure how much time the 23-year-old will need away before he returns to the squad.
Amad has started United's last four Premier League games, playing as a wing-back and in a more advanced role, as he did in last weekend's 2-1 win over Chelsea at Old Trafford.

Addressing Amad's enforced absence, Amorim said: "Amad is not here, someone in his family passed away and we are giving all the support to him.
"For Amad, we are here for him, it's a tough moment. In these kind of moments it's not the most important thing [football]. We can win without Amad but also we want to win for Amad."
On trying to win back-to-back Premier League games for the first time, Amorim said: “It's really important for us to have that sense urgency that we have to win, no matter what.
"For me, we cannot control the result of the game, but to start the game the way we start against Chelsea, against Arsenal, against Burnley, and to have the feeling we can win every match."
