Manchester United will be without Amad, Casemiro, Noussair Mazraoui and Lisandro Martinez for their Premier League trip to Brentford on Saturday.

Amad has been granted compassionate leave after suffering a family bereavement, Mazraoui is injured, Casemiro is suspended, while Martinez is still making his way back from injury.

The enforced absence of Amad means Diogo Dalot, who missed United's last two games through injury, is likely to come straight back into the side at right wing-back.

Casemiro's one-match ban, following his red card in last weekend's 2-1 win over Chelsea, means Ruben Amorim has a decision to make in midfield, with the United boss facing a straight choice between Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo.

Amorim said: "Licha is out, Casemiro is out because of the red card, and Amad is not here."

On Mazraoui, he added: "He is out also. He will not be back until the international break."

Amorim is trying to win back-to-back league games for the first time at United and said: "It's normal the fans don’t know what is going to happen the next game. To be completely honest, I have an idea, but I don’t know.

"The best way of dealing with that [trying to win back-to-back games] is that every game is the last one, not thinking about two games.

"It's not too many games for Manchester United, yes it's a big deal for Manchester United, so the next game is the most important game and so I understand the feeling of the fans."
