The situation with the Argentine playmaker is rather complicated due to Real Madrid’s involvement in a big way, and the Blues are now looking to steal a march on the Spanish giants if things fall into place.

Nico Paz is valued at €80 million by Como if they had the power to sell him in the open market. However, Real Madrid’s involvement could see them compromise on those potential fees, meaning it would take Paz to sign fresh terms with the Serie A club to remove the clauses set by the Spanish giants.
This is where Chelsea have a chance, although it will take a contract renewal for the €80 million-rated Serie A playmaker sensation, which will only materialise when Real Madrid concedes their clauses in the player’s contract.
