Everton have seen a number of controversial decisions go against them already in the opening stages of the season.
Fans were left furious on Monday night as, for the second week in a row, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was handed another baffling yellow card.
Dewsbury-Hall will now miss the Crystal Palace game through suspension on Sunday.
Howard Webb and the PGMOL have been urged to explain Dewsbury-Hall’s card to Everton, with the refereeing board receiving heavy criticism.
This is not the first time that Everton have seen a poor decision go against them and the season is only six games long.
David Moyes was furious with referee Darren England after the Merseyside Derby, where the £25m Dewsbury-Hall was handed another ridiculous booking.
Recent frustrations have now seen former Premier League striker Darren Bent call for a change to be made to the rules.

Darren Bent calls for Premier League rule change after Everton controversy
Moyes could not believe Dewsbury-Hall’s yellow card against West Ham United on Monday evening.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
The decision from Sam Barrott will now have one of Everton’s star players sidelined for a game in which the Blues will be targeting their first win in weeks.
Speaking on TalkSPORT, Bent has urged the PGMOL to increase the suspension threshold to more than just five yellow cards.
“Yeah, it’s ridiculous. I think they need to increase the number first and foremost,” Bent said. (11:00)
“I think they should increase the number. And the reason why you just said it there, five yellows in six games, is because you get booked for anything now. Absolutely anything. It’s the days of crunching challenges and then you go sorry ref next one and then you get booked.
“I mean them days are gone. I mean you get booked for a shirt a shirt tug. If the referee gives a decision you don’t like and you show passion you throw the ball against the floor you get booked.”
Dewsbury-Hall has been praised for his start at Everton, which saw him score a stunning goal against Wolves.
But Moyes is going to have to mix things up at the weekend when the Eagles make their trip to Merseyside.
Who David Moyes could replace Dewsbury-Hall with vs Crystal Palace
Dewsbury-Hall’s absence will be felt on Sunday when an unbeaten Crystal Palace visit the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Moyes has already spoken about playing Tyler Dibling in the starting XI and playing either Jack Grealish or Iliman Ndiaye in the number 10 spot.
“We like Tyler a lot, but he’s another one we’ll bring on in time,” the Everton boss said on Monday.
“We’ll just have to accept we’ll bring Tyler on when we’re ready. I thought he kept the ball well and did some good things.”
However, Everton also have Carlos Alcaraz, who has recently been snubbed from the starting XI due to the performances of others.
Moyes has been urged to recall Alcaraz to the Everton side at the weekend, and he could be the answer to unlocking the struggling strikers.
