Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong has reportedly finally agreed a contract extension with the Catalan giants until 2029.
The Dutchman’s new contract has become a priority for Barca, as he’s into the final year of his current deal, and it now appears to have been finalised.
According to Diario Sport, De Jong will sign on util 2029 after approving the extension and the documentation is currently been completed.

The Dutch star will now become the latest player to commit his future to the club and will be hoping to add to his trophy collection in the coming years.
De Jong has been in fine form for Barca at the start of the season, alongside Pedri in the heart of Hansi Flick’s side, and will be back in action later when the Catalans face PSG.
