Legendary striker Duncan Ferguson featured on Sky Sports’ coverage of Everton vs West Ham United, where he gave Jamie Carragher a real grilling.
The game itself left a lot to be desired from an Everton perspective as the wait for their next three points rolls into this weekend.
Struggling to find the back of the net, Ferguson admitted Everton are lacking a quality striker, with Beto failing to hit the form he showed last season.
This is proving a real issue for David Moyes, who has seen creativity added around his strikers, but Beto and Thierno Barry remain struggling to find the back of the net.
One Everton hero who knew exactly where the goal was is Ferguson, and how the Blues could do with a striker of his quality right now.
Whilst featuring on Sky Sports, the Scot could not help himself in issuing a dig at former Everton fan Carragher.

Duncan Ferguson issues Everton jibe at Jamie Carragher
Although Everton dropped two points in the end, Ferguson was so impressed with Michael Keane’s header to put the Blues ahead.
Looking back on some of his own headed goals, there was one specifically that Ferguson took the opportunity to take aim at Carragher.

The former Liverpool defender is known to have supported Everton as a child, and Ferguson wanted to remind everyone watching of that.
“That’s my first goal for Everton against our old enemy, Liverpool. You’d have been in the Everton end, wouldn’t you, Jamie?” said Ferguson, which had presenter Dave Jones laughing away.
"You'd have been in the Everton end there, wouldn't you have Jamie?" 😂

“I scored a lot of headed goals, but obviously scoring my first one against Liverpool, people remember that one.”
The Scot is someone who the Blues took to very quickly on Merseyside, with the striker showing everything Everton fans dream of in a striker.
Having carried his career into management at Goodison Park, Ferguson still wants another shot at managing Everton in the new stadium.
Ferguson knows exactly why Everton fans loved him
During his 272 appearances for Everton, Ferguson was able to return 72 goals and 13 assists across all competitions.
The aggressive Scot also picked up six red cards, but he is adamant that his competitiveness is what earned him the affection of the fans.
“They love their big number nines. They’ve got a tradition of Scottish strikers: Andy Gray, Graeme Sharp, Alex Young,” Ferguson added.
“So, I fitted that mould and I was aggressive. I liked to head the ball, I loved heading the ball. And Everton fans loved that, they loved that aggression.”
Ferguson has hailed Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford as a big-game player at the club, but Moyes could really do with one of them up the other end of the pitch.
With Crystal Palace coming to town on Sunday, Beto or Barry could really do with finding the shooting boots.
