SEAMUS Coleman has returned to the Republic of Ireland squad for the crucial World Cup qualifiers against Portugal (October 11) and Armenia (October 14).
John Egan, Will Smallbone and West Brom’s Jayson Molumby also return while Matt Doherty (wrist fracture), Jason Knight (groin injury) and Bosun Lawal (hamstring) are unavailable due to injury.
Callum O’Dowda, who has impressed with Hungarian champions Ferencváros Festy Ebosele (İstanbul Başakşehir) are named while Troy Parrott could feature against Armenia as he nears a return from the injury that kept him out of the September window.
It is hoped the AZ Alkmaar forward will feature against Telstar this weekend, after which he will be assessed by the FAI medical team upon arrival into camp.

“Seamus hasn’t played much, he has played two league game games and his number are good,” said manager Heimar Hallgrimsson.
“We’re happy to have him and he brings experience and leadership to the squad.
“It’s good to have him and John Egan, they are two senior players.
“I saw Will Smallbone play and he is looking good. Jayson Molumby comes in, he has been playing every game for West Brom like Festy Ebosele has in Turkey.
“If everything goes well Troy Parrot will be in the squad. Not planning to have him in the squad for Portugal but we’re hoping to have him in the squad for Armenia.”
Hallgrimsson said the reaction to Ireland’s poor start to the campaign “hurt” but added that he was confident the FAI had full confidence in him.
“I’m ok,” he said.
“This is the life. Sometimes it’s positive and sometimes it’s negative you just have to adapt.
“We had a project that was working well until Armenia.”
He added: “I want the players in this camp to answer for Armenia and I think they have the quality for qualify for the USA next summer.
“It’s far from being over. We need good performances in this camp and even three points will keep us alive for November.”
