Cleveland Browns Quarter-Season 2026 NFL Mock Draft and Players to Watch

Round 4, Pick 108 - Michael Taaffe, S, Texas

Another coverage safety and special teams contributor, Taaffe has good range and is a reliable tackler, and has functioned as a slot corner a decent amount. The secondary is Cleveland's weakest link on defense, so adding more young depth here is a good idea, though Taaffe has NFL starter ability.

Lander Barton, LB, Utah

Linebacker isn't a need for this team, but if a player of Barton's caliber falls to them on Day 3, the Browns would be hard-pressed to pass. His older brothers Jackson and Cody have both played in the NFL, but Lander may be the best of the bunch. He has elite size at 6-foot-5 240 pounds, and he pairs it with great explosiveness to create serious problems for quarterbacks, blocking passing lanes simply by standing there.

Round 5, Pick 146 - Tim Keenan III, DT, Alabama

The 6-foot-2 320-pound Keenan missed the first part of the season while recovering from the dreaded tightrope surgery, but he's back and ready to return to the ranks of college football's elite run defenders. Keenan's size and ability would make him a suitable replacement for Shelby Harris.

Round 5, Pick 149 - Charles Jagusah, OL, Notre Dame

Jagusah has barely played college football (and hasn't played in 2025) due to injury, but the 6-foot-7 333-pounder oozes athletic potential, and is worth taking a flyer on at this point in the draft.

Round 6, Pick 186 - Riley Mahlman, OT, Wisconsin

Yet another tackle may be overkill, but Mahlman comes from the offensive line factory with the pedigree of a multi-year starter. Even if the 6-foot-8 swing tackle ends up on the prospect squad, he's worth kicking the tires on.

Round 6, Pick 210 - John Michael Gyllenborg, TE, Wyoming

In addition to having a fantastic tight end name, Gyllenborg possesses loads of physical talent, standing 6-foot-5 251 pounds with excellent speed. It hasn't all come together in terms of production for him yet, but he has the potential to develop into a real difference-maker in the passing game.

Round 7, Pick 241 - DeAndre Moore Jr., WR, Texas

Consistency is the name of the game for Moore, who looks the part as an explosive slot receiver with savvy route-running ability. If Arch Manning can right the ship for the rest of this season, Moore could wind up as a solid mid-round option.
