The Miami Dolphins quarterback revealed doctors told him to carb up and hydrate more before games to protect his brain. The explanation, quite frankly, goes beyond wild. So, folks on social media immediately turned it into comedy gold.

Tua Tagovailoa Shares Doctor Hack to Beat Concussions

Tua survived a scary hit Monday night against the Jets when linebacker Francisco Mauigoa launched over him during a slide. However, he got no symptoms of concussion, just another normal day.

Speaking to reporters before Sunday’s Panthers game, Tua credited his new pregame routine.

“Carbing up more for the games and getting more fluids. I think it definitely helps with just the aspect of the brain,” Tagovailoasaid. “Everyone would be wondering, how did I feel on that hit?”

NEWS: #Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa says doctors have emphasized carbs and water to combat concussions.

“Your brain kinda sits in fluids. If I’m not eating carbs, when you drink water it’ll kinda flush out of you & you can’t stay hydrated…”

The signal-caller got into the science behind it. But the next part of his statement broke the internet with plenty of laughter.

He said, “If I’m eating eggs, bacon, and sausage and there’s not much carbs, like if there’s no bread or whatnot, you kind of drink water and it’ll just flush out of you. So you can’t stay hydrated that way. But the carbs kind of help soak that in and stay there.”

Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins kept their season alive by beating the New York Jets on Monday night. Now, they have a good chance to climb higher by winning against the Panthers on the upcoming SNF, who are struggling with a 1–3 record. Hopefully, losing Tyreek Hillwon’t cost them much.

However, for now, fans think Tagovailoa sort of lost his mind.

NFL Fans Go Nuclear With Hilarious Reactions

The 27-year-old literally said carbs help our brain fluid stay put, and that’s the medical advice from his doctor. Fans immediately questioned the logic, and his brain science became the biggest talking point ahead of Week 5.

The roasting session kicked off immediately. X users couldn’t believe what they’d heard.

One fanwrote, “Omfg, bro, Tua’s brain is deadass hula hula chicken and a side of samoan scrambled eggs, roger goddell deadass gonna hide this guys body.”

Anotherclaimed, “Man, these keep getting worse lol.”

A third added the grim prediction, writing, “Bro will have no memory in 10 yrs.”

One skeptical X userremarked, “Doctors are killing dudes.”

Regardless of what fans are saying in the comments, the positive point is that Tua is healthy. And this is how Miami Nation wants him for the Week 5 clash against the Panthers.
