Even last year, while missing four contests due to injury, Brown racked up 1,079 yards and seven scores on 67 receptions.
With the Eagles still managing to get off to a 4-0 start despite Brown’s shortcomings, they may be amenable to dealing him to New England. His services won’t come cheap, but the Pats shouldn’t hesitate to create a standout, veteran-laden receiving corps led by Diggs and Brown.
Doing so will help Maye reach his ceiling and allow him to lead this organization back to the playoffs.
