However, after the half-time performer was announced, ICE issued a scary statement.

It has been confirmed that ICE agents will attend Super Bowl 60 in Santa Clara, California:
The National Football League announced on Sunday evening that the Super Bowl 60 halftime show will be headlined by Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican rapper and singer is one of the biggest artists in the world. He’s overjoyed to be performing in front of an audience of 100-plus million people.
“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” Bad Bunny said in a statement. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.”
Jay Z, who helped make the pick via Roc Nation, added that what Bad Bunny has “done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage.”

An adviser to President Trump is not happy with the pick, though. He’s warning that ICE agents could be outside of Super Bowl 60.
“There is nowhere that you can provide safe haven to people in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else,” Corey Lewandowski said Wednesday on “The Benny Show.”
“We will find you. We will apprehend you. We will put you in a detention facility, and we will deport you. So know that that is a very real situation under this administration, which is completely contrary to what how it used to be.”
ICE agents confirmed on Thursday that they will be in attendance.
“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents will be deployed to Super Bowl LX … the agency officially confirming to TMZ a threat made by a Trump advisor,” TMZ Sports reported.
