Earlier this week, Jay Cutler’s wild and crazy legal saga came to an end:
This past Monday Cutler reported to Tennessee’s Williamson County jail as part of his agreement in a guilty plea to misdemeanor DUI. On Wednesday night, Cutler was released, per TMZ Sports.
TMZ noted that Cutler only served two of the four days that he had original been sentenced to under the plea agreement. The outlet reported that they have not heard back on why Cutler received early release.
“In addition to the jail time, he was ordered to supervised probation for one year. He also must pay a $350 fine, and his Tennessee license was revoked for a year as well,” TMZ explained.

Cutler was accused of drunkenly rear-ending a car in Franklin, Tennessee last year. He allegedly attempted to pay off the other driver in exchange for not calling the police.
But the driver instead sued Cutler and he could not avoid the inside of a court room.
As a result, he will be unable to drive for at least a year.
Hopefully his time in prison – short as it was – prompts Cutler to make wiser decisions in all aspects moving forward.
