Believe it or not, nearly a quarter of the NFL season has come and gone, but more football is on the way as Week 5 on TSN draws near.
TSN will be showing seven games from London to Los Angeles, while also streaming all the biggest plays from around the league Sunday on NFL RedZone.
Here is a game-by-game look at all of the action taking place in Week 5.
49ers vs. Rams - Thursday Night Football
A battle for the top spot in the NFC West between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams kicks off Week 5 in the NFL.
Watch the 49ers take on the Rams LIVE on Thursday Night Football at 8:15 p.m. ET / 5:15 p.m. PT on TSN1/4, TSN.ca, and the TSN App.
Puka NacuaPuka Nacua Los Angeles Rams
It is one of two games this week featuring a battle between teams above .500.
Los Angeles comes into this one after taking down the Indianapolis Colts last week, and have defeated San Francisco in the previous three matchups between the pair dating back to 2023.
The Rams offensively are flying high through the air, averaging the third-most passing yards per game (267.5) and fourth-most total yards per game (388.3). That’s thanks to the connection between quarterback Matthew Stafford and receiver Puka Nacua, as they have both been fantastic.
Stafford sits second in the NFL in total passing yards (1,114) on the year, while Nacua leads in both catches (42) and receiving yards (503).
And while the 49ers have been putting up a bunch of yards of their own, the injuries offensively continue to mount up. Pivot Brock Purdy and pass catchers Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings have all been ruled out, while tight end George Kittle (IR) and Brandon Aiyuk (PUP) are also inactive.
San Francisco will have to continue to grind through all of that but luckily, the defence has been great.
With Robert Saleh back coordinating it all, the 49ers sit top 10 in points per game allowed (seventh), yards per game allowed (fifth), and third down completion percentage allowed (second).
Holding up in the fourth quarter will be key for the 49ers as in three straight losses to Los Angeles, San Francisco has been outscored 30-3 in the final frame.
Vikings vs. Browns - NFL International Series on TSN+

This week, the Browns have decided to make a change at quarterback ahead of their matchup with the Vikings, as Joe Flacco is out, and third-round pick Dillon Gabriel is in.
The 24-year-old becomes the first quarterback ever to make their first career start in an international game, and will be asked to turn the sinking ship that is Cleveland’s offence around.
The Browns’ offence sits in the bottom six in the NFL in points per game (31st), yards per game (27th), and yards per play (29th), while Flacco sits last among qualified pivots in passer rating (60.3) and touchdown to interception ratio (2-6).
The 40-year-old Flacco’s 31.0 passer rating against the blitz is also the lowest in the NFL, while Minnesota’s defence sends pressure the third most in the league, which is something Gabriel will now have to deal with.
Cleveland’s defence has been elite, however, topping the NFL in yards allowed per game, yards per play allowed, and rushing yards allowed. They are led by Myles Garrett, who is once again on a tear this season and will be going up against a banged up Vikings offensive line.
Starters Ryan Kelly (concussion), Brian O’Neill (knee), and Donovan Jackson (wrist) all didn’t practice Monday, which is music to the ears of the man who has the most sacks since 2022 in Garrett (48).
He’ll be chasing around Carson Wentz, who is in line to make his third straight start with J.J. McCarthy still nursing an injury.
Minnesota’s offence has seen a spike in points per game and yards per game with Wentz at the helm, while his 115.2 passer rating on drop backs of 2.5 seconds or more ranks third in the league.
If Wentz has that amount of time to throw consistently, however, is the question.
Texans vs. Ravens on TSN1
A pair of 1-3 teams in the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens look to get their seasons back on track in an AFC matchup.
Watch the Texans take on the Ravens LIVE Sunday at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT on TSN1, TSN.ca, and the TSN App.
C.J. StroudC.J. Stroud Texans
In a turn of events, both the Ravens and Texans will both be looking to avoid 1-4 starts after winning their divisions and a playoff game the season prior.
A 1-3 record is already a hard enough hole to dig out of, as since 1990, teams to start 1-3 have made the playoffs only 13.9 per cent of the time, while only one team has won the Super Bowl. Only 12 1-4 teams have only made the playoffs since 1990 (6.9 per cent), so it’s not a group either team wants to be apart of.
Baltimore will try to avoid that 1-4 club with a laundry list of impact players on the injured list, with quarterback Lamar Jackson, offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley, linebacker Roquan Smith, and cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey, Nate Wiggins, and Chidobe Awuzie all not practicing Wednesday after leaving last week’s contest.
Not to mention defensive lineman Nnamdi Madabuike, Travis Jones, and Broderick Washington who all didn’t play last week.
The Ravens are 4-9 without Jackson since 2019, but something has got to give between the Texans’ struggling offence and the Ravens’ mass injuries on defence.
Houston sits bottom five in points per game, first downs per game, and red zone touchdown percentage, while Baltimore allows the most points per game, while also sitting bottom in the NFL in passing yards and total yards allowed.
Meanwhile, the Texans’ defence sits near or at the top of the league in a bunch of defensive categories, and has been carrying C.J. Stroud and the porous offence thus far.
It’s a bad offensive and great defensive team in Houston taking on a great offensive team and a bad defensive team in Baltimore. But with Jackson’s injury, that “great offensive team” label might not be the case.
Raiders vs. Colts on TSN+
Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts look to remain atop the AFC South division as they play host to the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Colts return home to Lucas Oil Stadium where they are undefeated this season, as they look to bounce back from their first loss of the year last week against the Las Vegas Raiders.
After averaging 34.3 points per game, 418.7 yards per game, and punting once through Weeks 1-3, Indianapolis only put up 20 points and 333 yards, while punting four times against the Rams.
Jones’ numbers were also down last week, throwing his first two interceptions of the year while putting up a season-low 80.6 passer rating. The 28-year-old still sits among the league leaders in passing yards and completion percentage while his running back next to him in Jonathan Taylor leads the NFL in rushing yards.
Both of them will get an opportunity to regroup against Las Vegas’ 22nd-ranked defence, but the same can be said the other way around.
The Colts’ defence sits in the bottom half in both yards per game allowed and passing yards per game allowed, but have forced the sixth-most interceptions (four), which is something Geno Smith has struggled with.
The 34-year-old leads the NFL in interceptions with seven, and is on pace to throw 29 picks, which would be one shy of the most thrown in a single season since 1990 (Jameis Winston in 2019).
Despite this, the Raiders were able to run the ball effectively in last week’s loss to the Chicago Bears, with sixth-overall pick Ashton Jeanty putting together his best career game to the tune of 138 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
Both offences could have a chance to put up numbers, but the pair of teams will both be hoping their defences step up to the plate.

NFL RedZone also gets started during Sunday’s early window, bringing viewers every score, turnover, and big play from around the league.

Commanders vs. Chargers on TSN1
The Los Angeles Charges will look to bounce back after suffering their first loss of the season last week as they host the Washington Commanders.
Watch the Commanders battle the Chargers LIVE on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET / 1:25 p.m. PT on TSN1, TSN.ca, and the TSN App.
Justin Herbert
It’s a battle of former offensive rookie of the years as Jayden Daniels is set to return after missing the last two games to face Justin Herbert and the Chargers.
The reigning offensive rookie of the year will have a chance to make history in this one. If Daniels is able to rush for 24 or more yards, he would become the fastest quarterback to reach 1,000 rushing yards, while also becoming the first player in NFL history with 4,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in 20 career games.
The 24-year-old will have to do it against one of the best defences in the NFL, which features one of the best defensive backs in the league in Derwin James Jr.
Los Angeles’ defence ranks top five in points per game allowed (17.8) and total yards per game allowed (270.0), while James has been at the forefront.
The 29-year-old leads all defensive backs in tackles for loss, and is second among defensive back’s in sacks and tackles.
Offensively for the Chargers, rookie Omarion Hampton has a chance to keep the good times rolling. The 22nd-overall pick’s 294 scrimmage yards over the past two weeks is the most in the NFL during that span, while the Commanders allow 107.5 rushing yards per game (14th).
Both offences have playmakers, but Los Angeles’ defence has performed significantly better than Washington’s up until this point.
Patriots vs. Bills - Sunday Night Football on TSN
The Buffalo Bills will look to remain undefeated as they play host to the New England Patriots in an AFC East matchup.

The Bills are one of two teams left undefeated in the NFL, and they will look to keep the loss column empty in one of two divisional matchups in Week 5 against the Patriots.
Reigning MVP Josh Allen has dominated the division in his career, boasting a 30-12 record, which is one of the best records against the AFC East in NFL history. And since 2020, Buffalo has been successful against New England specifically, going 7-3 over the last four years.
As for this season, Allen and the Bills’ offence have been rolling, scoring 30 or more points in each of their first four games for the first time since 1992. They also rank top two in points per game, total yards per game, rushing yards per game, and giveaways.
The Patriots’ defence will have their hands more than full, especially given their lackluster start as a unit defending the pass in 2025. New England’s defence sits in the bottom seven in opponent completion percentage, passing yards allowed, opponent pass yards per attempt, and opponent passing rating.
That means the Pats might have to put up some points themselves, and trying to keep up with this lethal Buffalo offence will be quarterback Drake Maye, who is putting together a more than solid year himself.
The 23-year-old tops the NFL in completion percentage (74.0), while sitting top-six in passing yards (988), passer rating (109.4), and offensive touchdowns (nine).
Difference is, the Bills have the top-ranked pass defence, boasting the least passing yards allowed and least passing yards per attempt allowed this season.
One last note, the Bills have won 13 straight home games, the longest active streak in the NFL.
Chiefs vs. Jaguars - Monday Night Football on TSN
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will try to get above .500 for the first time this season as they travel to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Wrapping up the week will be a battle between Mahomes and the Chiefs and Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars.
Both teams come into this one riding two-game win streaks, with Kansas City having won the previous eight matchups against Jacksonville, with the Jaguars’ last win coming in 2009.
Given the history of coach Andy Reid and Mahomes on Monday nights, that streak could continue. The latter is 8-2 on Mondays, while Reid boasts the second most Monday night wins of all-time with 23.
That duo will have to go up against a much improved Jaguars defence, as Jacksonville became the third team in the last 30 seasons with three or more takeaways and fewer than 400 total yards allowed in each of its first four games.
In fact, the Jaguars’ defence leads the NFL with 13 takeaways, which is already four more than their league-low nine a season ago.
The Chiefs, however, have only given the ball away once this season, while Mahomes boasts a 5-2 record with a 19-6 touchdown-to-interception ratio in matchups against teams leading the NFL in takeaways.
Lawrence will have to play close to perfect against a Steve Spagnuolo coordinated defence that has forced two takeaways in each of their last two games, while holding three-of-four opposing pivots to at or under 160 passing yards.
If the Jags and Lawrence -- who sits bottom five in passer rating, completion percentage, and passing yards per attempt -- can win, it would be Lawrence’s first win on Monday Night Football (0-2).
