Horrible Commanders news confirmed

The Washington Commanders were the surprise of the NFL playoffs last season. Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels led the team all the way to the NFC Championship, where they lost to the eventual Super Bowl Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.

This season, Daniels and the Commanders are looking to take it a step further and be the NFC representative in the Super Bowl, but through the early part of the season, Washington has been plagued by poor injury luck.

One prominent ESPN insider confirmed some more unfortunate news on Thursday.

“Commanders now have ruled out WR Terry McLaurin, WR Noah Brown and G Sam Cosmi for Sunday’s game vs. the Chargers. None of those players are traveling with the team to Los Angeles today,” ESPN’s senior NFL insider Adam Schefter reported on Twitter.

[Schefter then followed up with some more brutal news](https://x.com/AdamSchefter/status/1973860822029119561) concerning Washington’s receiving corps.

“Commanders WR Deebo Samuel also has not practiced the past two days due to a heel injury.”

Fans reacted to the injuries on social media.

“The amount of injuries in the NFL is insane already,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“The season is slowly falling apart due to injuries and the secondary. Ugh. Thought Cosmi was definitely going to play,” one Commanders fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Commanders weather the storm.
