Everton’s strikers are struggling for goals this season, and the same goes for Dan Friedkin’s other club, Roma.
Everton enjoyed a busy summer transfer window, backing David Moyes with several signings.
Some of those additions are instant impact players, with the likes of Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall already making an impression.
Others are signings for the future, and Moyes will hope to develop Adam Aznou, Tyler Dibling and Thierno Barry into stars.
Dan Friedkin and The Friedkin Group backed Everton over the summer, but they are coming across a rather frustrating problem.

Everton and Roma provide the same headache for Dan Friedkin
Everton saw Beto hit a purple patch of form last season, but he has struggled to recapture that magic this term.
Duncan Ferguson has criticised Beto, but the main alternative in Everton’s attack hasn’t fared much better.
Everton snapped up Barry from Villarreal, and while the Frenchman has talent, he has not looked ready for Premier League action this season.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
All of this means that Everton have only scored one goal from a striker this season – and a similar problem has emerged at fellow Friedkin-owned club, Roma.
Roma sit third in the Serie A table, but have scored just five goals in their first five league fixtures this season.
Only one of those goals has been scored by a striker, as Artem Dovbyk found the net against Verona on Sunday.
Roma have conceded just once in those five games, but goals have been in short supply under Gian Piero Gasperini.
This leaves The Friedkin Group with the very real prospect of needing to fund goalscoring solutions for both Everton and Roma come January.
Quality strikers do not come cheap, but Friedkin and co may need to dig deep if Everton and Roma continue to struggle for goals from forwards ahead of the transfer window.

Roma striker suffers Europa League embarrassment
Roma drew a blank in their Europa League clash with Lille on Thursday night.
The Serie A side lost 1-0 at home, with goalscoring again at the heart of their problems.
The manner of their defeat was frankly ridiculous, though, as Roma had three chances from the penalty spot – and squandered them all.
Striker Dovbyk stepped up to take a spot kick and saw his effort saved, only for encroachment in the area to hand him another chance.
Dovbyk stepped up again, but saw Lille goalkeeper Berke Ozer go the same way and make another save.
Encroachment caused yet another retake, but Matias Soule’s effort was also saved in an unbelievable series of events.
Everton’s striking issues haven’t quite reached these depths just yet, but Friedkin will be well aware that striking reinforcements are needed at both clubs.
