Edge Defender
Despite the noise people make, Myles Garrett is going nowhere. He is on the Browns through 2030 and most likely retiring on the team. They appear to have found a long term running mate in Isaiah McGuire to pair with him. This gives the Browns a dominant duo, they can then find a third edge costing around $4-6m in free agency or someone they extend alongside a rookie to complete the position room for the foreseeable future.
Defensive Tackle
With Graham, Hall and Huntington they have an embarrassment of richest when it comes to young defensive tackle talent. They can easily keep Collins around for another year before they start handing out larger deals as he is a wrecking ball on the interior.
Linebacker
You only need two linebackers of note, they have a nice pairing in Carson Schwesinger and Devin Bush, if they manage to get Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah back then I don't think it will be over confident to see them as the best linebacker duo in the NFL come 2026. With Jason Tarver coaching they can find any veteran minimum player and turn them into an above average contributor.
Cornerback
Denzel Ward is here long term and Greg Newsome appears to be trending towards and extension. In the slot Myles Harden has been getting better week on week as the third piece of this rotation. They will need to draft more depth but it appears to be a trio that they can keep together for at least the next three years. If Harden struggles then spending a few million in free agency will find you a good slot.
Safety
Grant Delpit continues to impress without being a star, pair him with Ronnie Hickman who has played like a seasoned veteran over the first four games you appear to have a tandem that can last here.
It is incredible to think the defense could roughly remain unchanged over the next three years considering it is already playing at a special level.
Special Teams
If their kicker can keep producing then these specialist trio could have another 5-6 years together.
