Jamie Carragher is convinced he knows how Everton vs Crystal Palace will finish

Jamie Carragher has now shared his prediction for Everton’s upcoming game on Sunday against Crystal Palace.

It has been a tricky few weeks for Everton across all competitions, with four games having passed since their last victory.

David Moyes will be keen to enter the international break on the back of three points against a Palace side who played European football on Thursday.

Everton News understands that Everton are not expected to rush Jarrad Branthwaite back from his ongoing injury rehabilitation for the weekend.

The longer picture is being viewed with the defender and he is expected to be allowed the upcoming break.

With all things considered, Carragher has now shared his prediction for the meeting at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday.

Although fans will be hoping for a better result, they will be all too aware of the issues that Oliver Glasner’s side caused Liverpool at the weekend.

Predicting the scores for this weekend’s fixtures, Carragher told Super 6 he can see Everton and Palace sharing the points in a 1-1 draw.

It would not be the worst result for the Blues given Palace’s recent form, but Everton will want to get back to winning ways this weekend.

Earlier in the week, Carragher praised Everton’s Michael Keane for his headed goal against the Hammers.

But the Toffees do not look the finished article, with Duncan Ferguson raising his concerns over Everton’s strikers after another blank from them.

Crystal Palace handed injury worry ahead of Everton trip

Having qualified for the Europa Conference League, Palace were in action in Poland on Thursday night to face Dynamo Kyiv.

The Eagles came out on top, but midfielder Will Hughes was forced off in the second half of the game.

Speaking after their three points, Glasner shared the latest on Hughes’ injury concern.

“He got a knock on his thigh, on his quad, a dead leg, and he was limping. We have a great medical department, so I hope that he will be available for Everton,” he said.

Given the way the two sides are currently playing, Everton will take any advantage they can get going into the game on the docks.
