Gary Lineker has been one of Marcus Rashford’s biggest supporters since the Manchester United star joined Barcelona on loan.
The Champions League continued this week without Manchester United’s involvement.
Many of United’s loanees and former players performed exceptionally on Europe’s biggest stage.
Rasmus Hojlund scored two goals for Napoli, while Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford both registered assists.
Meanwhile, United are trying to qualify for the Champions League ahead of next season, but that requires improved results.
United lost 3-1 against Brentford last time out and will be trying to get back to winning ways when they host Sunderland on Saturday.
Ruben Amorim will also be keeping an eye on his loanees to track their progress throughout the season.

Rashford helped Barcelona open the scoring with an assist for Ferran Torres, but PSG came from behind to win 2-1.
The England international played 72 minutes, and former Barcelona star Gary Lineker believes he did well against tough opponents.
Speaking on The Rest is Football podcast, Lineker said: “I was sitting in a restaurant after finishing filming yesterday and watched the game on my phone, PSG Barcelona I wanted to watch last night. It was as anticipated. I thought there might be more goals than that. I thought Marcus did pretty well, he did some nice things, really good assist.
“He made some substitutions and they seem to get a bit lost Barcelona. PSG had quite a few of their big stars missing, Luis Enrique obviously going back to Barcelona.”
Lineker suggested that Barcelona’s substitutions didn’t go in their favour. Hansi Flick may want to consider giving Rashford a full 90 minutes next time out.
After all, Rashford scored a brace against Newcastle in Barcelona’s first Champions League win of the season.
When is Marcus Rashford in action again?
Next up for Barcelona and Rashford is Sevilla.
Sadly for Rashford, he has a terrible record against Sevilla, having faced them four times in the past.
Rashford played against Sevilla twice in the Champions League and twice in the Europa League.
He is looking for his first win and goal against Los Rojiblancos.
