Everton star Jack Grealish has not been selected for Thomas Tuchel’s latest England squad.
The news will come as a huge disappointment to Grealish, who has shone since making the loan move to Everton over the summer.
Grealish was named Player of the Month in the Premier League for August, but this was not enough to persuade Tuchel to include the 30-year-old.
Only one Everton player was selected for the Three Lions, with Jordan Pickford taking his usual spot in the squad.
David Moyes urged Tuchel to select James Garner, but a call-up for the midfielder looks increasingly unlikely as Grealish’s frustrations continue.
Having been left out of the latest squad, one journalist has shared what is so odd about the whole saga with Grealish and Tuchel.

Thomas Tuchel snubs Everton’s Jack Grealish despite England chat
Even though Grealish’s father is urging him to score more it has still been a strong start to the season for the winger.
Despite this, Grealish continues to be overlooked for the upcoming games against Wales and Latvia.

Taking to social media, journalist Ian Ladyman shared a press conference from Tuchel on Grealish, which makes the decision even more strange.
‘Good story and I think it’s a mistake by Thomas Tuchel,’ he replied to another journalist sharing the news on Friday morning.

What makes it even more odd is that the game against Wales is a friendly, offering Tuchel some license to test out some different players.
Grealish was praised for his showing against West Ham, where he proved a constant problem for the Hammers defenders.
Clearly, Tuchel has his eyes on other players.
Jack Grealish has earned England call-up over Morgan Rogers
Just the other week, Tuchel admitted he’d pick his squad on form and not just the reputation of a player.
Despite this, he has called up Aston Villa attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers, who, by his standards, is having a really difficult start to the season.

Appearances 6 6
Goals 0 0
Assists 1 4
Fans from other Premier League clubs have hailed Grealish this season as he looks to have finally found his joy again in playing football.
And they are not alone, as Tuchel himself has also praised Grealish this season, but now looks unlikely to pick the Everton star.
“There’s no doubt I am a big fan of Trent [Alexander-Arnold] and Jack [Grealish] of both their talent and personalities. They are big players, they will always be big players. And they will always be in the mix to be called up,” he said earlier this season.
“I think they can have a bit more rhythm, I think Jack is starting to play again and he has a huge impact at Everton, which is nice to see.”
