Arsenal will have representatives in the stands for AC Milan’s game against Juventus, according to journalist Carlo Pellegatti.
Speaking on his YouTube channel (quotes via MilanNews.it), Pellegatti revealed that the Gunners will have scouts watching young fullback Davide Bartesaghi.

“Arsenal are interested in Bartesaghi. There have been no offers. Bartesaghi is a player who has received high praise from former AC Milan players.”
“He has a contract until 2030. There haven’t been any offers yet, but there will be some Arsenal scouts at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday evening to follow Bartesaghi. Let’s not forget that Arsenal have already been scouting, signing, and scouting Calafiori in the Italian league.”
“They’re following Bartesaghi. This is the rumour, which doesn’t mean he’ll go to Arsenal, but it does mean there are interested teams, especially one, for this boy whose qualities we haven’t yet discovered. But keep an eye on the Gunners.”
Bartesaghi is expected to start against Juve
Former Brighton defender Pervis Estupinan is Milan’s first-choice left wingback, but the Ecuadorian international was sent off against Napoli last weekend.
It means Bartesaghi is expected to start, having made 17 senior appearances (mostly as a substitute) over the past couple of seasons.
The teenager can play as both a fullback and as a centre-back, prompting many to compare him to Riccardo Calafiori.
Arsenal are not the only team interested in the player
The Italian Under 20 international was first linked with the Gunners earlier this year, but Bayer Leverkusen and Everton have also been mentioned as other potential suitors.
Former AC Milan and Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic has also made a point of singling out Bartesaghi for praise in recent months. When speaking on Spanish radio, he urged Barca to purchase the youngster, saying: “I would sign him with my eyes closed.”
