San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy did not play on Thursday because of an injury. He did play in Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but they lost the game then.

On Thursday night against the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco won the game over Los Angeles 26-23 in overtime. With the win, the 49ers are 4-1 this season. As for the Rams, they are now 3-2. Mac Jones was outstanding in the game for San Francisco. This is not the first time this season he has started for them. Is this football team actually better off with him and not Purdy?
San Francisco 49ers Fans Believe They are Better With Mac Jones Than Brock Purdy

During the game against the Rams, Jones completed 33-of-49 passes for 342 yards and two touchdowns. He looked great once again for San Francisco. With the way he is looking in this offense, many people are wondering why they even signed Purdy to that contract extension in the first place. Many 49ers fans said this on Twitter:

If the 49ers draft Mac Jones like was rumored instead of Trey Lance so many things are different. The 49ers probably win a Super Bowl, Mac Jones is one of the highest paid QBs in football, & we never find out just how good Brock Purdy is.

There is no way that San Francisco should play Purdy again for a while. Jones is doing just fine with the 49ers. How bad were the New England Patriots that Jones is having this much success? Also, the 49ers look bad right now for giving Purdy that contract extension.
San Francisco has a ton of injuries right now and they are still winning games. There was a chance that he was going to have leave the game on Thursday night with an injury as well. The 49ers will next play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home next Sunday.
