Look: Dillon Gabriel’s Fiancée Zo Caswell Cheers Rookie Milestone Ahead Of Week 5 Clash

Dillon Gabriel is no longer just a backup quarterback for the Cleveland Browns but the actual starting quarterback. The Browns made the announcement of their decision a couple of days back after removing veteran quarterback Joe Flacco from the QB1 position. Flacco has not been able to prove his potential in the first four weeks of the season, while Gabriel has shown moments of promise in his appearances.

The Cleveland Browns will hand the baton over to Dillon Gabriel for now to see how the rookie performs. As of now, Gabriel has only one touchdown on his record and the rookie quarterback will have a lot more opportunities to score better in the upcoming games. Gabriel’s girlfriend Zo Caswell, could not help but share her delight as she re-posted the news from the Cleveland Browns Instagram page.

“We’ve named Dillon Gabriel the starting quarterback”Cleveland Browns official Instagram page shared.

The Cleveland Browns were heavily leaning on Joe Flacco to lead their offense for this NFL season. But it looks like age has caught up with the 40-year-old veteran quarterback. Thankfully, they have another high-energy quarterback in Dillon Gabriel to take over.

As of now, the Browns have managed to win only one game out of four in the season. Most recently, the Browns were paired with the Detroit Lions, where they lost with an embarrassing 34-10 final score. QB Flacco could not convert any scores in that game. Dillon Gabriel will make his debut as the starting quarterback in the Week 5 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday.

Dillon Gabriel’s Promotion Gets Shedeur Sanders Miming

While Dillon Gabriel is definitely grinning with happiness, his promotion does not seem to be having any positive effect on his rookie counterpart, Shedeur Sanders. Sanders was interviewed by reporters in the locker room who wanted to know what he felt about Gabriel becoming the starting quarterback.

To everyone’s surprise, Sanders was just mouthing the answers with no sound, like a mime. His behavior was truly unusual, with Deion ‘Coach Prime’ Sanders’ youngest son beaming a wider smile than usual.

It is pretty clear that Shedeur Sanders is not happy with his current position in the Cleveland Browns locker room, and it is also clear that the young quarterback is desperate to play. Even before Gabriel’s rise to QB1 was announced by the Browns, Sanders already got into hot water for making remarks that he was better than many other quarterbacks in the league.
