“His Lawyers Told Him Not To Do This” Cowboys’ Jerry Jones Attacks Women Who Accused Him Of…

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is seeing his name once again brought up in a very negative light. Jones, who is 83 years old- has been one of the more famous public figures in the NFL over the last three decades. Dallas winning three Super Bowls in the 1990s cemented his place in legacy.

However, current events are looking much, much different for him.

Despite the advice of his lawyers, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones never shy’s away from speaking his mind:

For years Jones has been battling a lawsuit alleging sexual assault from an incident in 2018. A recent effort by Jones to dismiss the case recently failed, and the trial is back on for July 2026.

For whatever reason, Jones decided to speak on the case. During an interview with 105.3 The Fan in Dallas, Jones started commenting the details of the case, recalling how he allegedly kissed the plaintiff at a Giants game in 2018 while denying all of it and trying to point to a lack of evidence.

“I think we’re into this seven years, and it’s the system, but it’s been there for seven years, and that’s all that I can comment about it, but it’s the same one,” Jones said.

“It’s been around for a long time, and I’ve allegedly, when I was taking a picture with her after the New York Giants game seven years ago, allegedly kissed her,” Jones said. “And of course, I don’t remember that or deny that. There’s no pictures, there’s no witnesses in my view, and this thing . . . needs to move on down the road.”

Jones then started to complain about the “flawed” legal system and how the plaintiff is trying to “get money that you don’t deserve.”

“I think it’s the system, but I’m not going to complain about the system that we have in America,” Jones said. “It’s flawed, but it’s the best there is in the world. And so, you know, you just see where it goes from here, but I don’t — she actually is the godmother or a relationship with — that’s how she got invited to the party after the game against the Giants. And so she was there along with several hundred other people, and it just is a case of trying to, in my mind, get money that you don’t deserve.”

Jones is probably going to have a very uncomfortable phone call with his legal team after this. One of the main things that lawyers insist on everywhere is that their clients not speak publicly on ongoing court cases – not matter how open and shut they may seem. Jones is either getting bad advice or, more likely, is letting his frustration at the situation override good sense.

If there were ever a bad time to make a statement like this it’s right in the middle of an NFL season where his team is struggling and under the microscope.

The Cowboys are 1-2-1 with a top-five offense but a bottom-five defense and with the way they’ve played to start the year, it’s a lot harder than usual to circle any games on their schedule as an easy win.

But if the Cowboys can beat the Jets on the road this week and the Panthers on the road next week, they’ll be above .500 for the first time since Week 6 of last season.
