Manchester United lead Sunderland 2-0 at half-time after goals from Benjamin Sesko and Mason Mount.
Ruben Amorim desperately needs a win this afternoon as he looks to bounce back from a torrid start to the season. United have made a great start against the Black Cats and have a two-goal lead at the break.
Sunderland were awarded a penalty shortly before the break but the referee was advised to head over to the pitchside monitor and he subsequently overturned his original decision.
A win today would see United move onto 10 points from a possible 21 before the October international break.
