One of Everton’s targets for the January transfer market could be open to a potential move away in the coming months.
David Moyes will already be considering possible additions in the winter market despite being just weeks into the new season.
Everton have been encouraged to sign a new striker by club hero Duncan Ferguson, who watched the 1-1 draw against West Ham United earlier this week.
It was a busy summer window for Everton with nine new signings coming in through the doors at Finch Farm.
Despite being in October, Everton are expected to push for a striker in January, but there is optimism in improving another position.
And the player who Everton are focusing on signing is believed to be open to potentially leaving his current club.

Everton target could be open to January transfer
It has already been suggested that Everton are looking to sign Sevilla’s Juanlu Sanchez to bolster their options at right-back.
Everton were unable to land a new right-back and ended up keeping Nathan Patterson at the club for now.

According to Orgullo Biri, Sevilla will not consider offers for Sanchez below £17m having just renewed his contract.
However, the good news for Everton is that, although Sanchez is not pushing for a move, the defender is not against the idea.
Everton are claimed to be eyeing a formal approach for the right-back over the coming months.
Ironically, Everton agreed a deal with Sevilla to loan Patterson for the 2025/26 campaign, but Sanchez’s exit being ruled out ended the negotiations.
Just weeks on, it appears that Everton are looking to land the in-demand right-back.
Juanlu Sanchez’s versatility has impressed Everton
The report states that Sanchez’s ability in both defence and attack is something that has really impressed those at Everton.
Patterson is expected to be moved on in January if Everton are able to bring in a new alternative for the Scot.
The Toffees need a right-back who is capable of helping out in attack.
Darren Bent does not believe that Jake O’Brien is natural right-back given he was bought as a centre-back from Lyon.
Adding a player who can both offer something defensively and offensively could be a real game changer for Moyes.
