The Seahawks elevated safety Jerrick Reed II and nose tackle Brandon Pili from the practice squad ahead of their Week 5 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Reed, who has split time between the 53-man roster and practice squad this season, gives the Seahawks added safety depth with Julian Love ruled out due to a hamstring injury, and Reed is also a strong special teams contributor who can contribute in that phase of the game. This will be Reed's second game after he also played in Seattle's Week 3 win over the Saints, recording two tackles.
This will be a third practice squad elevation for Pili, who also played in Seattle's wins over the Steelers and Cardinals, recording one tackle.
