Cardinals activate DL Bilal Nichols from PUP list ahead of game vs. Titans

The Arizona Cardinals activated defensive lineman Bilal Nichols from the physically unable to perform list Saturday ahead of their Week 5 game against the Tennessee Titans.

Additionally, the Cardinals elevated linemen Zack Carter and Nick Leverett from the practice squad.

Nichols’ roster elevation comes as second-year defensive tackle Darius Robinson was ruled out for Sunday’s game with a pectoral injury.

After signing a three-year deal with the Cardinals in 2024, Nichols played in just six games last season before being placed on the injured reserve with a season-ending neck injury.

Nichols, who has yet to make his season debut, was a limited participant in practice this week with a neck issue and was designated as questionable for Sunday’s game.

Since making his NFL debut in 2022, Carter has appeared in 45 games in four seasons between the Cincinnati Bengals and Las Vegas Raiders, registering 68 tackles and two sacks.

Leverett has appeared in 22 games with 11 starts in five seasons between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots and Cardinals. Leverett has largely played at guard since making his NFL debut in 2021.

Kickoff between the Cardinals and Titans is at 1:05 p.m. MST on Sunday and can be listened to on 98.7 and the Arizona Sports app.
