Mark Sanchez was scheduled to call Sunday's Indianapolis Colts vs Las Vegas Raiders game at Lucas Oil Stadium. However, after his hospitalization and arrest, the former quarterback has been replaced.
College football analyst Brady Quinn will take over Sanchez's spot for Fox Sports. according to Front Office Sports.
Sanchez was rushed to the hospital early Saturday morning after being stabbed in downtown Indianapolis, TMZ reported. According to the outlet, law enforcement was called after reports of two stab victims around 12:30 am.
"IMPD is investigating a physical disturbance that happened near Senate Avenue and West Washington Street on October 4, 2025," Indy Metro Police announced. "Detectives believe this was an isolated incident between the two men and not a random act of violence."
Sanchez was listed in stable condition despite sustaining critical injuries.
He was later placed under arrest "for his alleged role in the incident," the department explained. "Sanches was arrested at the hospital for battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle and public intoxication, all which are misdemeanors."
IMPD insisted that Sanchez -- who remains in the hospital and has yet to be booked -- "should be considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law."
The Indianapolis Colts are scheduled to take on the Las Vegas Raiders at 12:00 pm local time on Sunday, October 5.
