Arsenal and other Premier League clubs could sign several free agent players currently who are available, with some of them being quality players.

There is a former Arsenal star without a club, a Champions League winner, and a former Tottenham and Manchester United defender. It is sometimes a shock to see quality players without a club, and Premier League teams should consider adding these players for both squad depth and experience.

But who are the most valuable names available at the moment? We decided to find out who the top five were, by looking at TransferMarkt‘s market value estimates…

5. Hakim Ziyech – £4 million

This one is perhaps the most shocking, as not long ago Ziyech was playing Champions League football, and considered as one of the best full-backs in Europe.

He won the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021, and remained at Stamford Bridge for three more years until he joined Galatasaray in 2024. A year later, he joined Qatari side Al-Duhail, and was released in June.

4. Josh Dasilva – £4 million

Another former Premier League player who is currently a free agent, DaSilva was released by Brentford in June after his contract expired at the Gtech Community Stadium.

He had been with the Bees since 2018, when he moved there from Arsenal’s academy, and he since made 157 appearances for the club. The 26-year-old midfielder would be a great addition for a lower-table Premier League side or a Championship team.

3. Sergio Reguilon – £5 million

Next up is former Manchester United and Tottenham wing-back Sergio Reguilon, who has a plethora of experience both in the Premier League and in European football.

He most recently played for Spurs, and was released in June after his contract expired. The 28-year-old Spanish left-back has played over 80 games in the Premier League, and would surely be a great depth pick-up for any team in the English top division.

2. Renan Lodi – £11 million

Brazilian left-back Lodi is one of two free agents to have a market value of over £10m, and it is a surprise that the 27-year-old is still without a club.

The former Atletico Madrid, Nottingham Forest and Marseille defender most recently played for Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, as he was released in September, and no club is yet to pick up the defender. He has 19 caps for the Brazil national team, and would be a great addition for any Premier League club.

1. Takehiro Tomiyasu – £16 million

Arsenal released Tomiyasu in the summer as his long-term injury was going to keep him out of action for at least half of the new season. Plus, the Gunners signed Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie, meaning that Tomiyasu’s role was completely reduced.

He has an estimated worth of £16m still, and would be a valuable pick up for any Premier League team. Arsenal fans know just how good he can be, and how dedicated he is. The 26-year-old will hopefully get to land his next contract soon.
