Official: Barcelona starting lineup against Sevilla

FC Barcelona have revealed their starting lineup for tonight’s La Liga clash away at Sevilla.

In goal, Wojciech Szczesny will make his third consecutive start, taking over while Joan remains sidelined.

In defence, Flick continues to rotate his centre-backs. Ronald Araujo, who was on the bench against PSG, returns to start and will occupy the right side of central defence alongside Pau Cubarsi, who also came off the bench in the previous league game against Real Sociedad.

On the flanks, Gerard Martin keeps his place on the left, despite Balde having featured briefly against PSG, while Jules Kounde starts at right-back as Eric García is rested.

In midfield, the setup remains familiar. Frenkie de Jong and Pedri form the double pivot, with Dani Olmo completing the midfield trio.

Pedri has not yet been included in rotation, leaving Marc Casado, Marc Bernal, and Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernandez to continue waiting for their opportunity from the bench.

Up front, injuries to Raphinha and Lamine Yamal force changes in attack. Robert Lewandowski returns to the starting XI after being rested against PSG and will lead the line as the main striker.

He will be supported on the wings by Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres. Flick has often preferred using both on the left wing, so it remains to be seen which player will start on the right side at the Pizjuan.

Flick’s rotation strategy continues to balance rest and competitiveness, keeping Barcelona’s squad ready for a hectic schedule across La Liga and Europe.

Sevilla will be a stern test, but the returning stars and fresh inclusions give Barça a strong chance to take all three points on the road.
