Barcelona are heading for a first La Liga defeat of the season, with Sevilla now 2-0 up at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.
Ronald Araujo was one of two changes made from the midweek defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, and he was at the heart of the incident that allowed Sevilla to score the opener. He was adjudged to have fouled Isaac Romero inside the penalty, with the decision being confirmed after a VAR check. That allowed Alexis Sanchez to step up from 12 yards, and he netted against his former club.
Since that moment, Sevilla have had a number of chances to score again, with most of them falling to Isaac Romero. He squandered two big ones, but it is third time lucky as he has now made it 2-0 to the home side on 37 minutes.

Barcelona have been very poor thus far, and they are now deservedly two goals behind. Hansi Flickβs side have a knack for comebacks, but they need to buck up their ideas if they are to get back into this one.
