According to Fichajes, Manchester City are ready to plot a raid on Swiss side FC Sion for their teenage attacking talent Adrien Llukes. The 17-year-old attacking sensation has had a breakthrough period of sorts and emerged as a key player on Manchester City’s radar ahead of future windows.
Teams from outside of the top-five leagues barely have the sort of power needed to keep their players away from the clutches of some big teams. Top sides from around the Premier League circles are constantly looking out for talent who could flourish in the first team.
Manchester City have been a leader of sorts in that regard, with their recruitment team often focusing on improving their youth ranks and those very close to the first team. Back in the summer, they signed Sverre Nypan from Rosenborg in Norway, who has since been sent out on loan to Middlesbrough in the lower tier.
Manchester City have been extremely active in snapping up some of the best talents from around, and now they have set their sights on another potential acquisition. Swiss side FC Sion are now anticipating an approach from the Premier League giants for their teenage talent Adrien Llukes.
The Premier League giants could make their move for the promising 17-year-old attacking sensation who has already become a key first-team member for FC Sion. The teenager is secured to a contract with the Swiss side until 2028, meaning Manchester City may have to pay a good enough fee to sign him, something that may not be seen as an issue for the Premier League giants.
How will Adrien Llukes fit in at Manchester City?
Llukes often plays as a centre-forward as his main position, although he is even capable of playing in the attacking or central midfield role. While his absolute long-term role remains undefined owing to his young age, the 17-year-old attacking sensation has already shown flashes of his talent with his versatility.
Manchester City will probably sign him and make plans for something on the lines of Nypan. Hence, it won’t be a surprise that should the club sign Llukes, the 17-year-old attacking sensation could be loaned out immediately or kept around the Under-21 and senior side for at least half a season to help aclimatise to his new surroundings, although a future loan also looks inevitable for his development.
