‘He’s been craving this’: Conor Coady makes exciting claim about Jack Grealish after instant…

Everton star Jack Grealish has made a big impact since completing his loan move from Manchester City.

David Moyes wanted to add more magic to his attacking options, and Everton backed him with Jack Grealish’s arrival.

Grealish joined Everton on loan for the season in an attempt to get his career back on track after slipping down Manchester City’s pecking order.

The results so far have been pretty good, with Grealish racking up four assists in his first two Premier League starts for Everton before scoring his first goal against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Conor Coady shares verdict on Jack Grealish at Everton

Grealish continues to pose a major threat down the left flank, and he is now being backed for even more success.

Former Everton defender Conor Coady has been on punditry for Sky Sports and was asked to speak about his former England team-mate Grealish.

Coady suggested that Grealish has been ‘craving’ the situation he now has at Everton, playing regularly and being loved by supporters.

That was how Grealish rose to stardom at Aston Villa, and Coady believes Everton are now helping him get back to his best.

Coady even thinks that Grealish still has more to offer and believes he has ‘more gears’ to find in an Everton shirt.

That would certainly make sense after barely playing for City last season, but it leaves us excited to see what Grealish can bring over the season.

Grealish is already Everton’s key man in the final third, so to hear one of his teammates suggest that there is more to come should excite Everton supporters everywhere.

“I think he’s been craving this, what he’s now got at Everton,” said Coady.

“I think he’s been craving the popularity, in terms of how he’s playing, and the Everton fans absolutely adore him and what he’s producing now, for Everton, is getting back to his best.

“I still don’t think he’s at his best. I still think he can go through more gears, but I think the way he’s playing at the minute, and the way Everton fans have took to him, I think he absolutely thrives off that sort of situation,” he added.

David Moyes must find an answer to Jack Grealish conundrum

Grealish has brought quality to Everton’s attack, but Sunday’s win over Crystal Palace highlighted a problem.

Palace effectively doubled up on Grealish and attempted to stifle Everton’s main creative threat.

Everton struggled to fashion quality goalscoring chances in the first half, though Grealish was more effective after the break.

Carlos Alcaraz impressed off the bench and may be a solution as a number 10 to take some attention away from Grealish.

Alcaraz drifts into wide areas from the number 10 role and may just give defenders something different to think about, rather than zeroing in on Grealish.

Moyes will have loved Grealish’s rather fortuitous winner against Palace, but he certainly won’t want to see the City loanee being marked out of games moving forward, meaning he may need to get creative with Everton’s other attacking midfielders.
