The Arizona Cardinals have been hit with a major injury, as tight end Tip Reiman had to be carted off the field with a brutal injury. Following a play, he was on the ground in considerable pain.
Almost immediately, the medical cart came out for Reiman, and his leg had to be placed in an air cast to help stabilize the leg.
Reiman was in a lot of pain due to the leg injury, which may turn around to be significant. It is never a good sign when the medical cart comes out, and it’s even worse when the player receives an air cast.
Many players came to show support for Reiman, who was taken to the locker room on the cart. One of those players was Kyler Murray, who exited the game moments before Reiman.
Murray appeared to have also suffered a leg injury, though he returned to the game after a few moments in the locker room.
Reiman will undergo more tests to determine what occurred, but the scene did not look great. The hope for the Cardinals would be that he did not suffer a season-ending injury.
