The Philadelphia Eagles suffered their first loss of the 2025 season. The Denver Broncos came into Lincoln Financial Field, scored 18 fourth quarter points, and took home a 21-17 victory. The win moved Denver to 3-2 on the year.
However, some fans don’t think they got the win on their own.

During Sunday’s game in Philadelphia, NFL referees were accused of “rigging” the finish:
The Eagles fell to the Broncos, 21-17, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Nick Sirianni’s team lost its first game of the season, dropping to 4-1 on the year. The Broncos, meanwhile, improved to 3-2 on the season with the win.
But late in the game, the referees appeared to miss a big-time penalty.
Did the Eagles get screwed?
Late in the game, with the Eagles trailing by four points, the refs appeared to miss a big penalty call, with a pass interference going unnoticed.
“THE EAGLES GOT SCREWED BY THE REFS AT THE END OF THE GAME ON THIS CALL,” one fan wrote.

“Rigged . Every big call was in Denver’s favor screwing the eagles,” one fan wrote.
“Everyone and their mother keyed the Eagles to win today…… Money line bet and clearly the bosses in NY couldn’t take all those losses…….I’m not gonna say it’s rigged……but it sure looks rigged. Just saying,” one fan added.
“So rigged it physically hurts. Yeah, the Eagles Offense stained the show, but those calls were horrible,” one fan added.
“If the refs did not have the game completely fixed, Eagles tush push the game winning touchdown. But you can’t win when the game is rigged against you,” one fan added.
