The Tennessee Titans scored one of the flukiest touchdowns of the season on Sunday after turning the ball over, then forcing a turnover of their own.
The Titans were facing the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Az. With just under five minutes left in the fourth quarter, the Titans were facing a 3rd and 2 at the Arizona 20-yard line while trailing 21-12. Quarterback Cam Ward’s pass was deflected into the arms of Arizona safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson for a crucial interception.
Taylor-Demerson, however, lost control of the football while rolling over to get up. Two Arizona defenders then deflected the fumble into the end zone, where Titans wide receiver Tyler Lockett recovered it for a Tennessee touchdown.

Normally, an offense cannot advance its own fumble. Since there was a change of possession and Taylor-Demerson was the one who lost the football, however, the Titans were entitled to fall on it in the end zone and get six points for it.
This was an example of everything that could have gone wrong going wrong for the Cardinals. This play would not even have mattered if one Arizona player had not committed one of the worst blunders possible. Both of these things allowed the Titans to get closer, and they wound up winning as time expired on a game-winning Joey Slye field goal.
