Man United secured a 2-0 win over Sunderland at the weekend to ease the pressure on head coach Ruben Amorim.
Goals from Mason Mount and Benjamin Sesko in the first half were enough for the Red Devils to secure all three points and move them up to 10th in the table.
Read below as we go through our Man United player ratings for the match at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon:
Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – Senne Lammens – 7/10 – a decent debut from the Belgian keeper, who made a couple of good saves and looked assured on the ball.
CB – Leny Yoro – 7/10 – his pace helped to keep the dangerous Sunderland frontline in check.
CB – Matthijs de Ligt – 7/10 – the centre-back had a good game in both boxes, winning his aerial duels defensively and playing a role in United’s second goal.
CB – Luke Shaw – 6/10 – had one moment when he was caught out of position but he wasn’t overly troubled by Sunderland’s forwards.
